Our home healthcare department is here to assist you with all your home healthcare product inquiries. We will consult with you and source out the products that are needed for your patient. We buy from over 150 plus vendors and carry over 6,300 SKUs in inventory. If we don’t carry it, we can order 1,000’s of products as a special order. As well, we can provide you with retail products for your long term care home.
You will connect directly with a home healthcare specialist to help you determine what you need for your patient. With over 25 years of combined experience, we can offer product training (with a vendor) and certification seminars. We liaise with the reps to provide in house training and can customize training to suit your pharmacy. In some cases, C.E. credits may be earned depending on the course.

Through the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) we offer RxTx subscription. As you may know, this subscription covers the COMPENDIUM, DRUG INTERACTIONS, NON PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION AND THERAPEUTICS pharmacy references (4/10 sources which are required by the College of Pharmacists of BC).
This subscription covers business and clinical resources to help you manage your practice as well as offer you educational and counselling opportunities. Also included are updates on national and provincial pharmacy news, developments in the industry as well as Health Canada updates. Plus much more information included.
With the corporate membership fee, this includes BCPhA Industry insight news in BC, access to the members-only section of the website as well as member communications. Plus many more benefits!

Our members think it’s very important to give back to our communities. As a result of our members dedicated support to various charities over the years, uniPHARM Wholesale Drugs Ltd. and its banner program Medicine Centre, created the uniPHARM & Medicine Centre Pharmacies Charitable Foundation (UMC Charity) to formalize the charitable activities of their companies. The UMC Charity was established as a registered Canadian charity in July 2009.
One of the initiatives that we created was our donation matching program for our shareholders. In a fiscal year, if a store owner donated money to a registered Canadian charity, UMC Charity would donate/match the same amount (to a maximum) to the same charity, thus doubling the donation.
This is a great way to support your local charity in your community, especially the smaller charities that struggle with fund-raising and are often overlooked.
